The prestigious magazine LatinFinance selected the company Energía Natural Dominicana (ENADOM) as the winner of the "Financing of the Year for Infrastructure in the Caribbean" Award for the US$180 million bank loan obtained for the construction of a second Natural Gas storage tank in Andres, Boca Chica.
Each year, the magazine's “Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards” recognize the most impressive transactions and institutions in an area crucial to economic progress in Latin America and the Caribbean. When the construction of the second natural gas tank is completed, ENADOM's storage capacity will increase to 280,000 cubic meters, reaffirming its local and regional presence in terms of fuel distribution and export.
In addition to a natural gas regasification, storage and transportation complex in Andrés, Boca Chica, ENADOM owns the Gasoducto del Este, a 50-kilometer infrastructure built with an investment of US$100 million.
